Watching my children grow and develop into their own individuals, knowing that I helped to contribute to their development, is just the most fulfilling part of being a father. Seeing them smile, hearing them, laugh, teaching them something new, or just being there for them when they need someone to listen, are some of the small things that make the effort worthwhile. Loving someone and caring for their well being and their future more than myself, is what it truly means to be a father.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
They deserve the best version of me. Therefore, I try to be the best father I can. I want my children to know that they are never alone, always loved, and always supported. With my wife, I strive to set a good example for them, teaching important values, and help to instill self-assurance, so they grow into resilient, compassionate, and prosperous adults. Above all, when they look back, I want them to know that I was a father who was always there for them.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would take the family on a vacation to create some long over due memories, as we have not had a good vacation in a few years due to the economy.
