Coming home every day to that beautiful little girl and her beautiful momma being excited and ready to see me, no matter if I work late, smell horrible, or am covered in dirt. I open the door to my daughter yelling "DADDY I MISSED YOU" and giving me a huge tight hug every single day when I'm coming home from work. No matter the financial stress or stress from work, it never fails to make me truly feel like I have "won" at life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I want my daughter to grow up seeing me as the best father that she could have ever wanted. I want her to be able to call me at any age and any time for absolutely anything she could possibly need, and for her to know that I am always there for her. I want her to see me and my wife happy and working as a team, to see how a man and wife treat each other with total love and respect, and I want her to be capable of achieving absolutely anything that she sets her mind to in life.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would pay off debt, and set aside the rest as a rainy day fund for any possible unexpected expenses. We have really struggled the past few years with me being the sole income of the household, and I would love to have the extra money in savings to accrue interest and to be able to continually be able to add to it again. It would dig us out of the hole we have been stuck in and allow us to be able to start rebuilding our finances, without the stress of debt looming over our heads.
