The most rewarding part about being a Dad, as when you come home from work & your kids plays hide & seek while I’m searching for hugs from them.. also being able to provide a healthy environment for them to have a chance in the world.. I also love seeing them smile when surprise them with something small or just because.. I love picking them up from school & dropping them off & seeing them enjoy themselves. So the most rewarding part for me is they know that I’m here for them whenever they need.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best Dad because I have no idea what a Dad is. So I try to emulate what I expected from a father if I had one around for me & my siblings.. Even though Mom was there, I had no structure or guidance how to make it in the world so I was forced to to figure it out on my own & that has been a task but the reward is well worth it.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would definitely pay off this loan that I had to take out for my son to go through his 1st year of college. Then I would just split the rest between my kids due to the fact I’m not able to provide enough for them & I believe they deserve it. My son will need a car his 2nd in college so I would get him something used to make it convenient for him. I won’t use it for self because my kids needs are more important then mines..
