Watching my kids be better than me. My oldest daughter (now 26) killed her 1st dear on my Dad’s birthday, 5 months after he died. My younger daughter (21) sings like Martina McBride and writes like Taylor Swift. My son (16) is an all around monster of an athlete and a beast of a drummer. God has blessed me with a career that has allowed me to give my family far more than I had growing up. Each of them has taken my talents & passions, and excelled beyond me in each of them. My wife is a saint
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My mom will be 65 on Halloween. She’s in the gym 4-5 days a week and is elite. She is THEE strongest, most positive, and most caring person on the planet. I know in my Dad’s heart he wanted to be better, but physically could not. He was a tremendous human. Everyone who met him, loved him. My Dad was Caring, generous, funny, a phenomenal singer, and a great storyteller. Physically he could never get his health under control. I try to be the best of both of them and pass it on to the world.
How would you use the $25,000?
My wife operates a fitness business out of our home gym. She’s training clients as old as 65 and as young as 13. $25k would give us the money to find her a bigger space to expand the business.
