It isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being present. It's about standing beside my children through every challenge. Seeing my son and daughter become college graduates, follow their own paths with God, and still know they can come to Dad for anything is my greatest reward. The greatest blessing isn’t what I gave them—it’s who they’ve become.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I know what it feels like to have a father who was present but not always supportive or loving. I chose to break that cycle. I wanted my children to always know they were loved, supported, guided, and prayed for, not only for my children, but for their friends when needed. Seeing who they’ve become is my greatest reward.
How would you use the $25,000?
Unfortunately because of the weather conditions we're expecting in DFW my home is experiencing some foundation issues. The prize money would go a long way in having the foundation repaired. Anything left would be used on a vacation to Disney World. My children and wife's favorite, family get away.
