The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my children learn, grow, and become their own little people. I love teaching them, hearing them communicate with one another, and listening to their thoughts, ideas, and feelings. Seeing their smiles and knowing they have a dad who will always protect, guide, support, and love them means everything to me. Being someone they can always count on is one of my greatest blessings.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I want to give my children memories and lessons they’ll carry long after I’m gone. I want the way I love, protect, provide, and show up for them to inspire how they raise their own families one day—and hopefully inspire other fathers and future dads too. I prayed for the opportunity to be a father, and God answered my prayers. This gift is something I’ll never take for granted.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to create memories and build a better future for my family. First, I’d finally book the Disney Cruise my kids have been begging me for, get them the family dog they’ve always wanted, and put money toward taking them to Japan so they can experience a completely different culture. I’d also add money to their savings accounts and use a portion to pay off my remaining credit card debt, giving our family more financial breathing room.
