What is Super Dad?
Learn MoreWhat's the most rewarding part about being a dad?
Watching my kids develop their own independence while still being the center of their world when they need help. The only people on the planet who look at me like I'm Superman are my kids no matter if I'm crushing it that day or getting on their level to apologize for dropping the ball. The love and grace they show allows me as a dad to be confident in how I lead and teach them every day.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I try to model what my grandfather and dad showed and taught me. I knew when I was 15 that being a great dad like they were was my biggest dream. I also come from a childhood where I watched friends without a dad struggle to find direction and I want to do what I can daily to help my kids have a stable, reliable, and constant father who they can lean on. The best way I can repay the curses my father broke is to be the best father I can for my kids.
How would you use the $25,000?
The $25,000 would be used to help start two investment accounts for our boys and get us into a better home that doesn't have a leaking roof, zero insulation, or falling apart. A house that can provide them each with their own rooms as well as an additional room for our third as we expand our family. I would like for them to graduate with enough financial setting that they can focus on their passions, not the lack of money need to chase them.
