The most rewarding part about being a dad is knowing that I have the ability to shape someone’s future for the better. I have the opportunity to be the example for my son that so many wonderful people have helped pour into me. Knowing that no matter how my day is going, knowing I get to see his smiling face at the end of the day makes nothing else matter.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad because we need more good dads. I want to set the tone and rewrite past experiences of my own childhood and make new ones with my family. Being the best dad means that even in tough times you keep showing for the people who are counting on you. Being the best dad means you instill your morals and values into your child so they can one day do the same for their families. And most importantly I just want to be the best dad my teaching my son to always have faith in god.
