Watching my children grow into their own people is the greatest reward. I’ve watched them face challenges, make mistakes, learn, work hard and become stronger because of it. I’m proud of their accomplishments, but I’m even more proud of the people they’re becoming. Knowing that I’ve had a part in giving them the strength, values and confidence to build their own lives means more to me than anything I could ever accomplish for myself.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
most important responsibilities I’ll ever have. I haven’t lived a perfect life, and I haven’t always made the right choices, but my experiences have taught me what really matters. I want my children to know that you can make mistakes, overcome difficult times, change your life and become better. More than anything, I want them to always know their dad loves them, believes in them and will be there when they need me.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to help give my children a stronger start in their adult lives. Whether that means education, training for their careers, helping with their first home or simply taking some financial pressure off while they establish themselves, I’d want the money to create opportunities for them. Winning would be exciting for me, but being able to turn that win into something that helps my kids build their futures would mean much more.
