Watching five completely different personalities grow right in front of me. Every age and stage brings something different, but nothing beats knowing I’m Dad,the person they can laugh with, learn from and depend on. Seeing pieces of what I’ve taught them show up in who they’re becoming makes all the long days worth it.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my kids are watching me. They see how I treat their mom, how I work, how I handle setbacks and whether I keep my word. I know I won’t get everything right, but I can always show up. I want my kids to grow up knowing their dad was present, loved them loudly and gave everything he had to give them a strong example to follow.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 toward a down payment on a home for my family. As a dad of five, one of my biggest goals is giving my kids a place of our own to grow up in, make memories and always call home. I work hard every day to build that future for them, and $25,000 wouldn’t just be prize money,it would put us a lot closer to making that goal a reality.
