The most rewarding part of being a dad is being there. Being present, being transparent, and making such an impact that even when I’m absent, my presence is still felt. A real father understands that his words, actions, love, discipline, and example leave footprints his children carry for life. Fatherhood is not just about what I provide. It’s about who I am, what I pour into my children, and the legacy I leave inside of them
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I know what it feels like to need a father who isn’t there. I grew up with questions that never got answered, blanks that never got filled, and a hug from my father that never came. That void followed me into manhood. So I made a promise that my children would never have to question my love or my presence. I strive to be the greatest father, hugger, protector, and example I can be, not only for my children, but for every fatherless child God places in my path
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to give 20 fatherless young men a weekend they will remember for the rest of their lives. Growing up, I never had family vacations, trips with my dad, or even the experience of attending a football game with him. I want to turn what I missed into memories for them. I’d give them adventure, brotherhood, mentorship, laughter, hugs, and most importantly, the feeling of knowing that they are seen, valued, and loved
