The most rewarding part is the time. Working from home, I get to be present for it all… the giggles, the “watch me Daddy!” moments, the everyday magic of watching my daughter Peyton discover the world. We play together every single day. Seeing life through her eyes has reshaped everything I thought success meant. That’s a reward money can’t buy.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because Peyton is always watching. Every choice I make teaches her what to expect from the people who love her. Being a dad isn’t just showing up for the fun parts… it’s being accountable for all of it, the hard days included. She’s only three once, and I refuse to coast through this season. I strive to be consistent, present, and all in, because she deserves nothing less from me. Building the prototype she sets the bar with for her future.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d split it between Peyton’s future and our family. Part would start her 529 education fund, so every dollar has years to grow before she needs it. The rest would go toward transforming our backyard into a space built for family… somewhere Peyton and her puppy Riggs can run, play, and make memories. It’s not about extravagance, it’s investing in her future and the everyday moments we already treasure.
