1. Seeing my kids smile as they run out to greet me when I get home from work and holding the door for me and asking how my day has been. 2. Being able to see my kids strengths and weaknesses and helping mold them into who they want to be when they grow up. 3. Knowing that no matter what happens in life that I have them standing behind me, which gives me strength to keep going when I'm tired or life gets tough. 4. Having my little best friends to join me on fun adventures :)
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
When my dad was 10 years old, his father took his own life. I've never understood how you could just do that to your kids who need you. Leaving my kids to fend for themselves without me has always been one of my biggest fears. I never want my kids to not be able to come to me in their time of need.. or even to be too scared to tell me something. I try to be the best dad I can be to honor my dad and so my kids will know how to be good loving parents to their kids one day. Strong, firm, but loving
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use it to give my kids more adventures and memories they’ll carry long after I’m gone. I’d take my kids and my dad somewhere they’ve always dreamed of going and make it a trip none of us would ever forget. Having three generations of Frisbys exploring the world and experiencing something new would mean more to me than anything. An adventure they'll never forget and will tell their children and grand kids about. Inspire them to do the same when it's their turn. To be present in the moment.
