The most rewarding part is realizing I’m learning from my kids just as much, if not more, than I’m teaching them. Watching them discover who they are, overcome fears, find their passions, and grow into amazing human beings is an incredible privilege. I may be raising them, but they’re also constantly challenging me to grow, be better, slow down, and appreciate the little moments. Being their Dad has made me a better version of myself. ❤️
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my kids are watching, even when I don’t realize it. It’s my job to show them what love, kindness, respect, resilience, and showing up for the people you care about actually look like. I want to help them become the best versions of themselves, but that means I have to keep working on becoming the best version of myself too. I won’t always get it right, and that’s okay. The goal has never been to be a perfect dad. It’s to be a present one.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’ve dreamed about taking Camp Dad on the road. I’d put the $25,000 toward an RV and turn America into our classroom and playground, taking my kids to national parks, landmarks, museums, and places they’ve only seen on a screen. It wouldn’t just be a road trip. It would be the ultimate Camp Dad adventure, filled with learning, exploring, ridiculous detours, and memories we’ll talk about for the rest of our lives.
