That's an easy question. The single best part of being a dad is getting the opportunity to be with them as they grow up. There's nothing like enjoying a good laugh with them, picking them up when they fall, wrestling them but letting them win... sometimes. We have a big job to do as Dad's, building confidence, raising self esteem, guiding them to be good people as examples, can all be done by just being present and spending time with them. They wont ask for much but we give more than we can!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
We (and mothers) are the backbone of their entire life. The impact we make lasts for their entire lifetime. With each day that we play, laugh, cry, we build them up to who they are and who they will be. Is there a better reason to strive to be the best dad you can be!? We show them strength in difficulty and resilience in pressure. But most of all we show them that we are still soft at heart. Our lessons guide them in life so, I want to be the voice inside their head that tells them they can!
How would you use the $25,000?
The responsible answer is that the girls need their bathroom refinished. Its old, falling a part and just plain ugly! So, a few dollars would go towards that. I will be doing it myself of course! As cliche as it is, a Disney world trip is needed. My girls are 7 and 15, so one is at the perfect age to start and one is just about out. We also do quite a few fun outdoor activities, tree top trekking, mountain coasters, go karts, so I would use some to spend as much time together as possible!
