The most rewarding part is the everyday stuff. When Amelia wakes up and I’m there, when I make her laugh, teach her something new, or she comes to me because she feels safe that means everything to me. I spend my mornings with her before I go to work, and those hours remind me what I’m working for. Watching her grow and knowing I get to help shape the person she becomes is the best feeling I’ve ever had.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My dad showed me how much a father can shape a child’s life, and I want to give Amelia that same feeling of love, security, and having someone in her corner no matter what. I work hard for my family, but I never want providing to be the only thing they remember about me. I want my daughter to remember that I was there. I’m not trying to be a perfect dad I just want to keep becoming a better one every day.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to create more stability for my family, not just buy something flashy. I’d put a chunk toward a home for our growing family, and invest some into my mobile detailing business so I can keep building something of my own. For me, the biggest win would be turning that money into less financial pressure, more opportunity, and ultimately more time with my family.
