The rewarding part is that I get to give my children the best of me. I also want to be present for every moment with my children. One of the biggest parts of being a dad is that I can come home to warm embraces from my children. Just seeing the look of achievement on their faces when they conquer a difficult task that I encouraged them through almost brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive so hard to give them the world. Many sleepless nights from working nights shifts on patrol, to working weekend Djing wedding or just doing ministry is all to give them the life they deserve. I just want my children to just look back on there life growing saying that their dad was always there, and much I shown them that I love them. I may not receive an award for best dad but my children is the best prize that I could ever receive. That's why I mentor the Fatherless kids in ministry.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use most of the money to help fund the ministry that I serve in. We have a student creative art ministry that services about 100 kids in 2 different cities. It would help with food cost and also wardrobe for the kids in need. I would also fix my garage at my house that was damaged from hurricane Helene so that I could be able to host the kids at my house bible studies and game night. It would definitely help my community through ministry.
