Coming home to my girls. I love it when they run up for a hug or cuddle with no warning at all, they just come find that comfort, out of nowhere. And then hearing that little “I love you!!”, nothing beats it.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because my girls are watching everything they see how I treat people, how I handle stress, how I keep my word. I want to be the kind of dad they can point to and say “that’s what a good man looks like.” Every day is a chance to show up for them, so they grow up knowing what love and consistency actually look like. Hopefully the example I show will help them find a spouse with the same attributes.
How would you use the $25,000?
Most of it would go straight into savings for the girls, collage, cars, insurance, stuff like that. The rest would help fund a trip to Costa Rica we’ve been planning. My wife and I have made it a priority to travel every year instead of buying more stuff, we’d rather give our girls memories. I want them to grow up cultured, curious, and aware of the world beyond what’s right in front of them.
