The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my kids grow into their own unique people and knowing I get to be part of that journey. It’s the little moments, making them laugh, teaching them something new, and watching them overcome something hard. More than anything, I hope they always know that no matter where life takes them, Dad will always be in their corner.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can because I want my kids to look back and know how deeply they were loved. I want my boys to see in me what it means to be a man who loves, supports, and stands by his family. And for my daughter, I hope the way I love her mom sets a standard she never feels she has to settle beneath.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won $25,000, the first thing I’d do is build my kids the coolest treehouse I possibly could, something that gives them the same kind of childhood memories I still carry with me today. I’d invest most of the rest into their 529 plans, so along with giving them memories for today, I could give them a head start on their future that I didn’t have growing up. Also take a family trip to Disney World to satisfy a dream of my wife!
