Seeing them thrive in situations where I as a child wouldn’t have dealt with properly. Watching them achieve goals and see them glow with excitement as they reach those goals. Teaching them valuable life lessons I was never shown, and seeing them utilize those lessons in daily situations. And the absolute best I think would be how I know I am their safe place and they know they can always come to me.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
To create loving, accepting humans with good morals. I want them to be other people’s safe place. I want to see them achieve what I only ever dreamt of at their age. It’s not always about money, I’m talking about personal growth. Acceptance and loving of themselves and overcoming major milestones at a younger age so they can help others navigate some of those feelings and goals.
How would you use the $25,000?
I have a little less than that total in debt, if I could pay off that I would be able to work closer to home and spend much more time at home. I still have bills so I need and want to work. But this would be an amazing setting for the next few years of my child’s lives. I would be extremely grateful and would strive to be more giving myself.
