Watching the awe and wonder in my kids’ eyes as they experience something new—swimming, fishing, the beach, finding the coolest stick or even sitting on my lap driving the truck. It’s the bedtime hugs that make the day’s worries disappear. Most of all, it’s teaching my son something new and watching him refuse more help as he fails repeatedly until he finally succeed, then hear him proudly say, “I did it! Did you see that?” Those little moments are what being a dad is about. Oh and ice cream!!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I want my kids to know they can always count on me. I want to teach them, guide them, and show them that challenges are meant to be overcome. More than anything, I want to be present for the little moments, make life an adventure, and create memories they’ll carry with them forever. I want them to grow up knowing how deeply they are loved. “My dad was there. He taught me things. He believed in me. He made life an adventure. to be a example of Strength and Honor
How would you use the $25,000?
It would go into a investing account to grow for my kids to use later in life when they are ready. They could use it for college or a down payment on a house. I'm entering this competition for them.
