Seeing my kids happy and knowing that they know they are loved. They are always smiling and laughing, which makes me so happy. When I see them achieve something that they worked for it makes me so proud of them. Watching them grow up is bittersweet. I miss when they were babies that I could hold, but as they grow I see their wonderful personalities developing. People notice how much my sons adore me and look up to me. That makes me feel like I'm doing parenting right.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My dad is a great dad and I want him to see that reflecting on his grandsons. Most importantly I want my boys to know they are loved, that they can come to me with problems or questions, and that they grow up to be kind, successful men. I want them to be better at life than I was, but also know that no matter what they do I will be proud of them and love them.
How would you use the $25,000?
To pay off my debt, so I can start contributing to their college fund. I would probably also set aside some of it to make that dream playground and treehouse they keep talking about
