The most rewarding part is being able to be an example for my son's. My oldest always mimics what I do! It shows how much he looks up to me and how much he pays attention to my actions. Also, I love spending time with them. Coming home from a long day at work and seeing their smiles makes me smile and brightens up my day.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because every child needs their father, and unfortunately, some kids have to grow up without their father. As long as there is breath in my body, I want my sons to feel loved and valued. My oldest will be 3 in October, but I am already trying to speak greatness and confidence to him. I want them both to live to their fullest God given potential and to be the best men they can be.
How would you use the $25,000?
First, I would give some to our local church that we attend. They are a small, growing church, and I would like to contribute to their growth. I'd also give a monetary gift to my parents. In a season where I made bad financial decisions, they were there to assist me. Lastly, I'd probably fund the Nonprofit/business ideas my wife and I have. We have big dreams and goals but not the infrastructure to build on them just yet.
