The most rewarding part is in the question. It’s being there Dad. Everyday when they look at me with a smile I know It’s real. When I see them accomplish something new, I know I helped. When I’m the first person they need when anything good or bad happens, I know I’m their answer. So again if you can’t look at your child and feel rewarded then you will never have the trophy you think you deserve.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive because I think of their future. Everything they experience now will build them as the adult they become. What I say, do, or even don’t do will effect them a lot longer in life than it will myself. It’s no longer about yourself when you become a dad, it’s about the life’s your shaping.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I were to win the prize it’s simple, I would re locate my family. Currently being in a situation of a crammed household I would use it to get us a jump start back on a place to call home. And of course I’m sure some candy for the littles!
