What is Super Dad?
Learn MoreWhat's the most rewarding part about being a dad?
Seeing my kids happy and successful. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my kids and the other kids I've coached succeed. Many of the kids who play sports with Ava and Shawn have played for me since they were 5 years old. I feel as though they are all my kids and love them all as such.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I love my kids. My parents divorced when I was young and I had to take on more responsibilities than most at my age; including helping my mom with bills as a teenager. I pour into them everything I wish I had as a child. I want to be present. I want them to have a childhood and strive every day I can to make it a reality.
How would you use the $25,000?
Probably to help my kids go to college. My oldest daughter is currently in college and struggling to pay. I had tens of thousands of dollars in debt from school and would love to help my children avoid that. I want them to have the advantages in adulthood that I had to fight for. I am not typically someone who enters these contests or likes to highlight myself but the opportunity to help my kids pay for college is really the driving force to apply. Thank you for your consideration.
