Being able to love the kids and grandkids. Loving them through mistakes and even my own. Letting them know that we all make mistakes and those mistakes don’t define my love for them. Loving them unconditionally through good times and bad. Seeing them realize that yeah Dad did know what he was talking about and seeing that helps me know I’ve done something right.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because I love my family. I strive to be the best to be better than what I had growing up. My dad was an alcoholic and never present. I am always present for my kids. They know that as long as I am here I will be there for them.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use it to fix up some things on our house and start a college fund for our two granddaughters
