I enjoy every moment. From every smile to every teardrop, I want to be a part of it all, and I want him to feel safe and loved. It brings me so much joy to see him find happiness through new experiences. I honestly can’t be mad around him either. I’ll get annoyed sure, but angry, never. I’m in awe of his energy. I have taken him on trail walks, and he has walked over 2 miles before, as a 2yr old, and by walk I mean sprint. Being a dad is the best job in the world, and that will never change.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
There’s no other way to live for me. I feel my job as a dad is to be the best dad I can be. I want to help people around me and show him what it means to be a good citizen to fellow citizens around the globe. I want him to be prepared for the challenges, known and unknown. And the best way I can do that is by being a good example, modeling the right way and by surrounding myself with the right people to be good role models for him as well. Simply put, I just want the best for my son.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the money to help pay off my debt due financial hardship and put as much away in a high yield savings account or similar kind of account for my son’s future and to secure his daycare / future schooling services needed.
