Because we can’t have our own kids it’s the reward of opening our home to these foster children and giving them a safe home where they can thrive and hit all their growing milestones. Being a part of their lives, although sometimes just for a short time, and making a lasting difference. Love seeing their smiling faces every morning and seeing in their eyes how much I matter to them. And also hearing the little giggles and laughter as I am pretty hilarious and the funniest person they know.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad because I didn’t have a great dad. I want to be there for them whenever they need something. Also because we can’t have our own kids every child that comes into our home needs and deserves the best dad in the world. I want to ensure that every child is safe and feels protected. They need a good start in life and I want to be a part of that for them.
How would you use the $25,000?
Down payment on a bigger home for my family that has a big yard. So we can open our home to more kids.
