The most rewarding part about being a dad is how far even the slightest amount of effort goes with your children. Simply putting in the time to play, to show them how to do something, or to just be silly pays off immediately. The look of awe on child’s face or the deep belly laughs reset the tone for the day and make all the other noise in the world go away. It’s the most rewarding job in the world.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
This is the easiest question. I had the best dad imaginable and I know what an effect that has had on me. It’s immeasurable. If I can impact my kids positively in the same way my dad did to me, then this will be a life well lived.
How would you use the $25,000?
I think I would use part of it to take my family to Ireland, including my parents. They have never been and to share with both my children and parents would be truly special.
