Being present everyday for my kids has simply been the most rewarding part of being a dad. All the dirty diapers, crying, teething, & sleepless are a reminder that it’s a privilege to be involved in raising my kids. Every breath they take is a memory I cherish & getting to coming home & walk through the door after a long stressful day & see my sons face light up & having him walk over to me & lift his hands up waiting for me to pick him up from is a reward no amount of money can buy.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My real dad wasn’t in my life growing up. You learn early on the importance of a dad & how lonely & difficult it can be without a dad. Due to this I know the kind of man & father I want to be for my kids. I may not be able to give my kids everything, but I know my kids will never question if I love them or if I’m proud of them. Everyday I get the opportunity to do & be everything I ever wanted from my dad, for my kids.
How would you use the $25,000?
My wife recently became a stay at home mom to our 2 amazing children. I’d pay off a couple debts we have, & then I’d take us on a vacation. My 14 month old son loves Toy Story, so maybe take the family to Disney world so my son & daughter can meet Woody & Buzz.
