Watching my girls become their own little people. Seeing their personalities, confidence and sense of humor grow is incredible. But my favorite part is knowing that, right now, Dad is one of their favorite people in the world. Whether we're doing something exciting or absolutely nothing, they just want me there, and I don't take that for granted.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because these years are going way too fast. I know there will come a day when they don't need me to hold their hand, carry them on my shoulders or sit beside them for every little adventure. I want them to grow up remembering a dad who showed up, made them laugh, encouraged them and made sure they always knew how loved they were.
How would you use the $25,000?
We live in an old house that we love, but with two growing girls, our one full bathroom is getting crowded fast! We’d use the $25,000 toward adding a second full bathroom upstairs – something that would make a huge difference for our family every single day.
