Getting to experience all the magical 1st’s all over again. To show her the exciting, the scary, the movies, play the games. To see life new again through her eyes. It’s rewarding to show her a basketball one year, and watch her swishing baskets the next. To hold her hands on a skateboard one day, then race her down a hill another. To watch her confidence bloom and her personality explode. To be her protector and her biggest fan.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
By being a great dad, I can make her great, and I can make her children great and so on. It’s the greatest gift to not only be a father but to show your daughter what a great man looks like. Being a great role model will give her the example and the tools to be a successful, happy, and loving mother and individual one day. My efforts will cascade into every other aspect of her life and others in her life. Like my father to me, my influence will shape her success l.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would set aside 5,000 for my daughter’s college fund and set her future up for success. I would plan a 2 week vacation through Europe for my family to learn about all the different cultures. Travel is a great way to learn and be inspired. I would donate 5,000 to the NBYC Mill Street Youth center, my local youth center where I volunteer and mentor kids ages 11-18. This would have a huge impact on my family and many others.
