Free labor! Just kidding kind of. For me I think just seeing my kids succeed at whatever it is school, softball, volleyball, art projects, their job. Watching them get frustrated and doubting themselves at the start, watching their growth and hard work turn into accomplishments. To see the pride they feel in themselves once it’s achieved! Oh and being able to rub it in there face and “say see I told you, you could do it but what does dad know”.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I’m going to be honest I don’t really strive to be the best, I just try to focus on being there in whatever aspect that is for them. I lost my father when I was 9 and there’s no “How to be a great dad for dummies” book for being a dad so I’ve messed up a lot along the way but I never gave up. I just always want them to know that they can count on me to be there for them no matter what and that I’m always going to support them even when they don’t make the right decisions or choices.
How would you use the $25,000?
Pay off child support. Ha.. um help my 16 year old get her own car so she don’t have to work all weekend that she’s staying with me. More than likely a vacation for us. Whatever is left I’ll use to invest in a way to make an income so I can spend more time at home them.
