To me being able to watch my kids grow & learn daily. Teaching them that nothings impossible. Being the first person they see when they wake up as well a being the last person they see before they fall asleep at night. With both businesses that I have my kids get to see me work hard daily as well as provide services to the community.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My mother place me and my sibling in foster care when I was 4-5 years old. My father was able to be granted custody of me and took care of of me and my sister. I saw him struggle with what life threw at him but through it all he put me first. He did the best he could with what he had to work with till his final days and through it all he reminded me everyday that all he wanted was for me to be better than him and to always take care of my kids
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d invest in dog grooming and boarding business by paying for some dog grooming classes. Then I’d complete the cosmetic work needed to get facility ready for grand opening. If there’s anything left I’d love to take all my kids on a family vacation. Things been crazy since Covid as I’ve had to close several barbershop locations and haven’t had time to get away with them since.
