The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my sons, Harrison and Weston, grow into their own personalities while knowing I have the privilege of helping shape the men they’ll become. Every laugh, lesson and milestone reminds me that fatherhood is my greatest responsibility and my greatest joy. Seeing them become kind, confident and caring young men and knowing they feel loved, protected and supported means more to me than any personal achievement ever could.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because Harrison and Weston deserve a father who is present, dependable and intentional. I know they’re learning how to navigate the world by watching how I love, lead and treat others. I want my example to give them the confidence to dream boldly, the character to serve others and the assurance that, no matter where life takes them, their dad will always be in their corner.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to make the most of our small city backyard by turning it into a safe, functional space where my sons can play, help me grow a small garden and spend quality time with family. I’d also tackle needed home repairs and involve Harrison and Weston in age-appropriate projects so they can learn practical skills and the pride of caring for our home. Any remaining funds would help another local family with an essential repair.
