Probably watching your kid become their own person—seeing their personality, curiosity, humor, and values develop, and realizing you get to be there for it. There’s also something uniquely rewarding about the little moments: the random hugs, inside jokes, bedtime conversations, or when they look at you like you’re their safest place in the world. And maybe the biggest one: you get to experience ordinary life again through someone else’s eyes.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because being a dad is one of those roles where the little things can shape a whole person. You want your kids to grow up knowing they are loved, supported, and capable—and to have someone they can always count on.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to create something meaningful for my family—put some toward my kids’ future, take the family on a memorable trip, and set a little aside for emergencies. I’d want the money to give us both experiences we’ll remember and a stronger foundation for the future. At the end of the day, I’d rather turn it into memories and security for my family than simply spend it on things.
