Seeing my kids smiles, awards, and milestones and knowing that I hopefully played a part in getting them there. Seeing them mold and turn into great kids with a strong foundation is the greatest gift they could ever give me. Knowing they need me like I need them. Teaching them while they teach me. Growing with them while they help me grow. The list can go on and on. The smiles, time, and growth are the most rewarding things of being a father.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best father I can be because I didn’t have a good father growing up. He showed me exactly what not to do. My daughter only having me for a few years really showed me how to push myself past the point of exhaustion just to be able to see my child happy. I apply those skills to every day in life for my current wife and baby boy. I want to give them all the life they deserve. They make me feel like the richest man in the world, so I want to give them the same they give me.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to pay off some debt, set aside some money for my children’s future, possibly use some of it to take them to Disneyland and create endless memories with them.
