The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my kids grow into the people they’re becoming and knowing I get to help shape that journey. It’s the little moments—the carefree smiles, the laughs, the hugs, teaching them something new, watching them overcome challenges—and realizing that, to them, I’m their safe place, their teacher, and their hero. Being a dad gives life a purpose bigger than yourself.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive because these kids matter. Because being a dad isn’t just a role to me—it’s my responsibility and a privilege. I want my kids to know they’re loved, supported, and worth fighting for. I strive to be the best dad because I want to give them the kind of childhood they’ll look back on with gratitude, while teaching them to become good, strong, caring people themselves.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to give my family more stability—pay down debt, make some much-needed improvements to our home, and put the rest toward creating experiences and memories with my kids. It wouldn’t just be money spent; it would be an investment in my family’s future.
