Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I lost my father (his choice), during a very traumatic time in our family which left me unprepared (at least I felt) to pick up the pieces. It was through that, I vowed to always put family first and never run away when times get tough. Stand tall. Face everything. Teach my children that it is okay to fall but always get back up. Unlike the example my father left, I want my son to see that his dad will always be there to forge, protect and provide.
How would you use the $25,000?
Pay off our debts. Split what's left to assist my son with his first car (we have a deal that I will match what he saves for it), help my daughter, son-in-law and put some away for our granddaughter's future. ...and if there's any left, the wife and I may enjoy a nice date night. :)
