Well, I think instead of thinking of what is the MOST rewarding part, I think about ALL of the rewarding parts! Being there for your child(ren), being able to create worthwhile and fulfilling memories with them. It’s so extremely humbling and gratifying being able to help raise the next generation of amazing individuals. It may not be profitable or lucrative when you think of money, but personally and emotionally when you see the love in their eyes, it’s worth its weight in gold.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Dad is a noun that should be “worn” as a badge of honor, not to run away from, to scuff at, or to be assimilated to as a “babysitter”. Like so many families in the 80’s, I come from a divorced family & splitting time between parents was difficult. I learned and became observant of things I should do, but also things I shouldn’t do. Losing a child to cancer, I learned that there are so many things that are out of our control. What we can control though is making the most out of every day.
How would you use the $25,000?
LOL!!!! “Let Me Count The Ways”. I think a better idea is to do a throwback to David Letterman and a “Top 10” List 1. Child’s Tuition 2. House payments 3. Car payments 4. Retirement 5. Savings Account 6. Charity 7. Disney Trip 8. Disney Trip 9. Disney Trip 10. Better spend some of that prize money at Ace Hardware huh?!?!
