Oh, so you haven’t met my boys. I see. Being their dad means realizing that while I’m showing them what a beautiful life can look like, they’re teaching me how to live one. They inspire me to live authentically, choose happiness and create happy places & warm spaces. For little guys, even routines, schedules, and brushing teeth can feel like big challenges. Yet these boys love hard, laugh harder, and easily empathize. Their resilience leaves me no excuse not to be just as resilient.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because they deserve a childhood filled with love, laughter, adventure, and the freedom to dream as big as their imaginations allow. I want them to grow up knowing they are loved beyond measure, that their dreams matter, and that they always have someone cheering them on. Being their dad has changed every plan I had for my life and somehow made it better than the one I imagined. I aim to be the father who doesn’t just tell his children to chase their dreams but shows them what that looks like…
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to transform @CafeBohemiaKenosha façade and patio into the kind of place that makes people want to stay awhile. I envision a lush, harmonious outdoor space filled with greenery, intimate summer lighting, and perhaps a pergola—a little oasis in the neighborhood. I’m building more than a coffee shop; I want to create a place where people gather, connect, and feel happy. And I’d love for my boys to grow up watching something beautiful take root alongside them.
