Watching my kids figure out something they once thought they couldn’t do. I love seeing that moment when something finally clicks and their faces light up because they realize, “I can do this.” Whether they’re learning a new skill, trying something for the first time, or working through something difficult, watching their confidence grow and seeing them learn to trust their own minds is one of the greatest parts of being their dad.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My three kids are watching how I live, not just listening to what I tell them. I want them to see that life can knock you down and you can still get back up, learn, grow, and build something better. I want to give them the confidence and resilience to overcome things that once held me back. If I can teach them to believe in themselves, work hard, love deeply, and keep going when life gets difficult, then I’ve done my job as their dad.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’m working while attending trade school to become an electrician and build a more secure future for my three kids. I would use the $25,000 toward my education and the costs of completing my apprenticeship. It would relieve a major financial burden and let me focus on mastering my trade. This wouldn’t just pay for school. It would help me build a career, create stability for my children, and show them what can happen when you refuse to stop building a better life.
