Being able to see the growth of my daughter everyday! Coming home from an hard day, all the stress melting away as I see her learning how to hold her head up, giggle and smile. It’s crazy how fast it is going. Her potential is unknown and I love that. I can’t wait to be her super fan from sports to science fairs whatever she decides are her passions and hobbies. I will be supporting her on this journey and it will be a reward like no other. I can feel my pride for her growing as she does!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I’m heavily influenced by my father. No matter what he had to do with work he was still able to take me to my sporting events even coaching all the teams I was on and won an award for volunteer of the year in Saskatchewan. He’s given me life lessons that I use everyday. And turning out to be amazing grandfather.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would take 10 grand and set it aside for when she turns 18 and she can choose whatever she wants to do with it. Hopefully it makes some interest then I take the other 10 grand use it for any hobby or activity she wanted to do like my parents supported me and all my adventures. Last 5000 I would break it up and give her a bit for each birthday or put it towards a car when she turns 16 in Canada you need a car to survive and have freedom to grow.
