Seeing them light up with a smile because of a gesture that I did, and watching them make achievements that I contributed to. Also, watching them utilize skills or knowledge that I taught them!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
It’s my responsibility to, my obligation! I strive to go harder than most though because I missed 16 years of my oldest life and 12 years of my youngest life due to incarceration. Therefore every gesture that I do is simultaneously for what’s needed in tha moment and also for what was missed in the past.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would give both of them a portion for their pocket, another portion for their bank account (maybe a cd or something similar that can’t be touched for a while), make a group investment for all of us, and enjoy the remainder maybe with a trip.
