The most rewarding part about being a dad is being able to be present in every aspect of my kids lives. From attending their games, school events, and as a photographer, being able to literally capture very memorable moments. The other rewarding aspect is being able to able to be an example to other dads who may be new to this experience etc. Imparting wisdom and knowledge to new and current dads and caregivers is a reward truly, in itself.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive hard everyday for my boys, because I know what it was like as a kid, to not have a dad to strive hard for me. I grew with just a mom taking care of me, and through it all, she did the best that she could. And as I went on through life and saw how other kids who had fathers prospered in many ways, I told myself that once I had the opportunity to become a parent, that I will not allow my children to experience the shortcomings I had to endure as a child. How would you use the $25,000?
If I was to win this $25,000 blessing, the first thing I would do would be to get rid of some debt. I would set aside a portion into my kids savings. And the rest of the funds I would add to a trust fund for the future. In edition, I would donate a portion to my church that I attend.
