The most rewarding part of being a father is my daughters reaction every day when I come home from work. I know I am doing the right thing when she runs up to me when I come through the door. Knowing that she is happy and safe with me is one of the most valuable feelings in the world. She truly provides a purpose for all things I do in life -- making all of the sacrifices worthwhile. Watching her grow, learn and become her own version of herself has been eye-opening and heartwarming.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I had a strong father figure in my life. My daughter truly gives me purpose and makes it extremely easy for me to be a first-time dad. I know that she is watching my every move and taking in the way I speak and act, so it is important to set a positive example for her to follow for the rest of her life. She is a sponge. She takes in EVERYTHING and has a phenomenal memory. I saw how sacrifice provided me with a quality upbringing, so I will do the same
How would you use the $25,000?
There are a multitude of things that come to mind... but the FIRST thing I would do is plan a family vacation for family! My daughter is finally old enough to take in theme parks such as Disney World, LEGOLAND, or Sesame Place. These vacations are expensive, but it would be a great way to enjoy quality time as a family. I would place some of the money into my daughter 529 account, that will continue to build wealth for her to use when she attends college in the future. Buy a quality swing-set!
