For me, one of the most rewarding parts of being a dad is teaching my kids a life lesson and then watching them actually apply it to their own lives. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about knowing that the things I teach them are helping shape the people they’re becoming. It makes me realize that all the love, guidance, and effort I put into being the dad I always wanted to be truly matters.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Growing up, I didn’t have a father figure in my life, and that left a void I always carried with me. From a young age, I promised myself that when I had children of my own, I would be the father I never had the kind of dad who was always there, who loved unconditionally, and who made his kids feel safe, supported, and valued. I wanted to be the best dad my children could ever ask for.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d pay off my student loans first, then take the kiddos to Great Wolf Lodge for a fun-filled family getaway. After everything I’ve worked for, being able to give my kids those unforgettable memories while also taking a huge financial weight off my shoulders would mean everything to me.
