The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching your kids grow into kind, independent people and knowing you helped build that foundation. It’s in the small, quiet moments: the unprompted hugs, the laugher over inside jokes, and the proud feeling when you see them master a new skill or stand up for what’s right. Knowing you are their safe harbor while simultaneously teaching them how to navigate the world on their own is a profound privilege that makes every challenge worth it.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad because my children are watching and learning how to navigate the world through me. I want to build a foundation of love, resilience, and integrity for them so they feel secure to chase their dreams. Being present and pushing myself to grow every day ensures I leave a legacy they can be proud of, while giving them the tools, confidence, and values they need to become kind, strong adults.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would invest it directly into my family’s future and stability. Pay off tuition fees to support my wife’s nursing school, ensuring she completes her degree debt-free. Seed dedicated compound-growth savings accounts for my children’s future education and life goals. And, Strengthen our emergency fund to provide a secure safety net, letting us focus on growing together without financial stress.
