It warms my heart when my kids come to me for things, such as advice, money, when they are heartbroken. That lets me know that they know they can always come to me. I can’t make every game or every conference because I do have to work but if I know in advance then I’ll always show up for them. No matter what.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my father wasn’t always around for me as a child and teenager. So I always said that I would give my kids the father I never had. I never want my kids to feel Ike that can’t come to me for any and everything I’ll always be in their corner.
How would you use the $25,000?
Well my oldest is in college now so that would help a lot with his school and my daughter will be turning 16 in a few months and she’s going to need a car lol so that 25,000 would help tremendously.
