Having little people that look up to you and just get a smile on their face at the sight of you. Not much better than that. Hilarious lines from kids always brighten the day too. It also fills you with pride and joy when you’re kid wants to do something but is struggling. When you can help them practice and guide them a bit that smile on their face when they have accomplished their goal is priceless. Knowing you’ve helped them feel proud of themselves is a great personal success.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I feel like I had the best dad I could ask for so just trying to be like he was with me for my kids is a big motivator. I want my kids to be successful, nice/empathetic contributors to the world. If I can do my part to be a role model and show that to them I believe that gets them on the right path. On top of that, being a great dad while there young hopefully means they want me in their life even after they move out. Looking forward to a lifetime of memories with my kids.
How would you use the $25,000?
There is a lot I would do this. We just had our 4th kid and so I would pay off some medical bills. We also moved at the end of February so there are still a few projects I would like to complete at our new house. Lastly we would put some towards a new car we are looking to buy now that we are a family of 6. We need something a little bigger if we are going to go on road trips.
